Richard Hawes - Internationals
I came to Hull to work fulltime for the Church in 2012 following a career as an Operating Theatre nurse. I studied Biblical Studies at Sheffield University and gained a PhD in the subject. I was ordained as an AMiE deacon in 2021. I am married to Helen, a local GP and have two children – Rose who is married and living in Hull and Thomas who is currently at Sixth Form college. I enjoy wargaming and historical re-enactment in my spare time. I have a heart for cross-cultural evangelism and ministry amongst internationals. The Gospel is for every tribe, tongue and nation and it’s a delight to teach it to those who have never heard it in their own countries.
