I am Augustin Ruvumera. I am one of seven brothers who were born into a Christian family in 1983 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I have therefore always known and loved Jesus. I became a member of staff in our local Congolese Anglican Church in 2009. In 2012 I was sent to Theology School by our Bishop. I am married to Esperance and we have four children. I was formerly a primary school teacher in the Congo before the conflict, when I helped with the administration of refugees in a camp in Burundi. Since coming to the UK in 2014, I have done factory work before becoming a Care Assistant in a nursing home. 'I praise God because I am still in God until today'.
