QUESTIONS:
- What areas of your life do you try to control, and how can you recognize that true control belongs to God, not to you?
- Reflect on your service to God—are you serving out of duty or out of love for Him? How can you ensure your heart is fully aligned with Him in your actions?
- When do you feel weary in your relationship with God, thinking that your efforts should earn blessings? How can you shift from seeing God as a transactional figure to recognizing Him as a relational Father?
- What are some things in your life that may have become idols—things that you rely on for satisfaction instead of God? How can you refocus on God as your true provider and satisfier? What steps can you take to guard against idolizing these things?
- How does God’s promise to "not forget" His people (v.21) encourage you in your own walk with Him, especially when you feel distant or unworthy?
- How have you experienced God’s Spirit flowing through you like "rivers of living water" (v.3)? In what areas of your life can you invite God’s Spirit to refresh and renew you?
- In what ways can you celebrate and rejoice in the redemption God has provided through Jesus Christ, as mentioned in the passage? How does this shape your daily life and interactions with others?
