The Savedness of the Saved (10:22-30)
The Father gave the sheep as a gift to the Son (v29)
The Son gave the sheep the gift of eternal life (v28)
The Father and the Son hold the sheep securely (v28-29)
The Words and Works of Jesus testify to His Sonship (10:31-39)
Jesus’ words show Him to be God (10:30, 34-36)
Jesus’ Works show Him to be God (10:32, 37-38)
The words without works of John testify to Jesus (10:40-42)

1a) How can we go beyond people’s excuses to present the words and works of Jesus? 1b) What barriers do people erect and how can we overcome those barriers?
2a) What brings the believer security and assurance? 2b) Describe eternal security. What does this mean for you right now? How does it affect your life?
3a) When do you lack assurance about salvation and the future? 3b) How do you overcome that lack of assurance?
4) How would you answer someone who said: “Jesus never claimed to be God”?
