Luke 1:39-56 – My Soul Sings

Introduction

Praise for God’s work in Mary (1:46-49)

A soul that glorifies (v46)

A spirit that rejoices (v47)

The God who is mindful (v48)

The God who is mighty (v49)

Praise for God’s care for all (1:50-53)

The merciful heart of God (v50)

The mighty hand of God (v51-53)

Praise for God’s commitment to His people (1:54-56)

The God who has shown favour (v54-55)

The God who does not forget (v54-55)

“My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant.”
