Questions:

1) When have you personally felt the “bright light” of Christ’s truth in your own life as both comforting and confronting?

2) How do you respond when the world reacts negatively toward your faith - anger, fear, compassion, silence, or discouragement?

3) Where are you tempted to dim your light to avoid rejection, ridicule, or discomfort?

4) How can focusing on the pattern of Jesus’ life and rejection give you strength when you face opposition?

5a) What might “bearing the name” of Christ cost you personally - in your workplace, friendships, or family? 5b) What specific “bed of nails” have you encountered as a result of following Jesus, and how have you seen God sustain you through it?

6) What practical steps can you take this week to shine Christ’s light more boldly without watering it down?
