John 8:31-47 – A chip off the old block

Introduction

Oasis – ‘Whatever’

Slave Versus Son (8:31-36)

Sons are filled with the word of the Father

Sons “hold to His teaching” and slaves “find no room for it”

Sons are freed by the word of the Father

Genuine and Guaranteed Freedom

Illegitimate Versus Legitimate (8:37-47)
