Questions:
1) Does the hard and sharp language of Peter surprise you? What is an appropriate response to false teachers?
2) Where do we observe false teaching being smuggled into the church?
3) Discerning false teaching is a good and necessary thing. However, many times we go overboard, being overly critical of a fellow servant of God. How do we navigate the fine line of rebuking false teaching without tearing down a true brother?
4) What is being modelled to you by your Christian leaders? What are you modelling to fellow believers?
5) In what way does false teaching rip away credibility from the gospel?
6) What are areas in our own lives that may tarnish gospel credibility? What would it look like for you to prioritise the reputation of the Gospel in your life?
7) Why is motivation key in Christian ministry and service? How would you go about evaluating your motives in service?
